I own a small web design company in California. I do very well with search engine optimization and internet marketing but for some reason I can not analyze my business well on my own.  I am way too close to the source and need your help to come up with ideas on where or how to market my web design business. Do you have a marketing background? If not, go to the local college bookstore and buy a copy of their Marketing 101 textbook. It`s a great investment. And read it cover to cover! Also, try http://www.copyblogger.com/</A> for excellent tips on copywriting and so forth.

1. What is your market position relative to competition?
2. What is your marketing strategy?
3. What are your tactics?
4. Why do customers buy your products/services?
Figure these things out and you`ll have a much better understanding of how to market your business successfully.

Thank you for all you good suggestions. I definately am not a copy writer and will visit the sites you recommend and the book. I truly want to do good business and continue to grow. I recently moved into an office and hired a full time employee and a very part time. I am not used to having an overhead and want to try my best to continue to grow.
