    Definitely reward the person. Rewarding the person for his/her ideas, is a great way to keep the company`s moral up. I`m really new to this, but I believe that a good reinforcement will encourage, more than just the person to go above and beyond their job description.

    One large corporation use to give the employee a check for 10 percent of what the idea saved or made the company in the first year of implementation.  Company made hundreds of thousands of dollars off the program by encouraging employee involvement in the company.nevadascul1/16/2009 8:15 PM
