Web Technologies - asking for your help..

Hello everyone!
I am working on my new web site and would like to ask you guys for some help. I am trying to figure out the web technologies needed to build a site for my new training division. Potential customers who access my site would be able to select from a ist of potential personal training consultants by viewing their profiles. My company would be the middle man/go between.
I am sure that some type of database technology would be involved - but I would like some more technical detail from those out there that can help me understand this better.

I would think there is already a script/program to accomodate your needs. Here`s one example of a script the you can use to run a "freelance" website.
A search should present you with some alternatives.

It seems like you are trying to build something similar to a site I have seen (can`t remember the name). It was a site that was connecting baby sitters and the parents together. Parents could see the baby sitters profile and contact them for services.
Based on our development experience a site like that could be built in an opensource CMS like Drupal or Joomla.

By the way Drupal (durpal.org) is better in terms of features then Joomla.
