Revamp a Business' Marketing Strategy

Try a different marketing medium, like switching to television if you use print. Take advantage of technology by marketing online or sending emails.


Change your slogan. Unless your slogan is known nationally, change the words and bring in new customers who may have not noticed your company in the past.


Look at your target market. Make sure you are still reaching the right customers. As the population ages and baby boomers grow older, you may need to market to a different group than you were targeting a couple of years ago.


Add a theme to your marketing strategy. Make it seasonal or age-related to bring in customers who might not have otherwise considered your product or services.


Use incentives to bring in new customers. Offer coupons, discounts or free gifts with your products and services. Include money-back guarantees as part of your marketing plan.
