Funding through partners

Has anyone had experience getting funding by bringing on a partner?  I am in a position with one of my companies where it is time to add at least one person that could be at a partner level .  It would be nice to find someone who is qualified and would be interested in buying in to the company.

Bringing in a "working partner" should be done with care and consideration for many factors - not inclusing their ability to put in cash. If you find the right person for a partner - consider their cash investment to be a bonus.
