Anyone can give me an idea what are the problems and opportunities that may arise in starting a restaurant? I`m new in the business.

    First make sure that you market the area.  Marketing consist of
    1. Need
    2. Space
    3. Area
    4. Community
    In other words make sure that you know the community and the need of the area.  Attend chamber of commerce meetings join them also.  Let them help you with community activities.  Educate yourself with tools to help you help the business grow.  Talk and associate with people who have been in the industry.
