SRDS- magazine directory

New here, just joined today...
Wondering if anyone has tried marketing their publication with SRDS- we currently do google & yahoo ad words, cold calling, direct marketing and pr, but are wanting to invest some money in other forms of marketing to get more advertisers to sign up for space in our publication.  Any ideas?

    It`s a directory -online and in print- that publishes all of the media properties on the market- TV, print, Radio, direct marketing lists etc. Most magazines would be listed there.  Ad agencies and marketing firms use it as a resource to find advertising options for their clients. It lists all the data available on each property- like the circulation, editorial profile and rates for printed media for example.

    I`m a big believer in the direct approach. That`s why I was the founding president of the Rocky Mountain Direct Marketing Association.
    Why not invest your money in target marketing the advertisers you want to reach, buy or create a list of decision makers, call them up, send them letters and follow up emails.
