My website is Filmcrave.com. It is a movie social network where you can write movie reviews and make movie lists.

We are getting ready for our first redesign. Any suggestions related to the logo and colors would be appreciated. The layout will be becoming less crowded but staying generally the same.

People like that it is a true community of movie lovers. ALL of our traffic is word of mouth and we have been growing pretty steadily since we launched less than a year ago.
Take a look at our press and you will see what people like about us, that says more than what our feature set will say.Filmcrave In The News

Thanks for the feedback. We can and do what you mentioned. But a site like ours with over 40k movie titles, about 10k of them with plots and lead actors, movie ratings etc. in a blog type interface.

I do agree that our main page is too complex though. We are trying to provide the users with too much info at the start, and this is part of our redesign. A lot of our visitors don`t have member accounts, which means they cannot rate movies, write reviews, submit plots or comment on reviews. They simply go to Filmcrave to read reviews, watch trailers and get quality movie lists.

The other 75% use it to organize their own collections, rate movies, write reviews and make their own lists. But once you are signed up it becomes more like a typical social network except for the fact we supply the topics of discussion.
