SitePal: Annoying or Cute?
I`ve noticed more and more small businesses are using SitePal`s virtual talking characters to enhance their website and increase sales. I personally don`t use SitePal characters on my site, because I think they`re annoying. But what do you think?
Are SitePal`s virtual talking characters annoying or cute?
How do you feel, when you come across a website that has one?

Yeah, it`s kinda cool. But I still don`t like it. Serena Williams is cool too - but I don`t like her either!

Now that`s an interesting parable, and probably not entirely inaccurate.

I understand that a product like SitePal may be a love or hate product. However, I also want to share our finding that an unplesant experience with SitePal is oftentimes a result of an inappropriate implementation of the technology such as not having the playback control or using bad quality of audio etc.
Here are a couple of examples of our clients you may want to check out.

When properly used, SitePal characters will look nice and can greatly improve the website effectiveness by engaging visitors and focusing their attention to your key message.
It`s an important mission for us to develop and share best practices of the technology to help more people use the tool in a rigth way and enjoy the benefits. You can check out some of our suggestions at http://www.sitepal.com/avatarbestpractice
