Out of curiosity, what has to be present for you to know your
business is a success?
My top three are:
1. Maintaining a 6 figure income yearly.
2. Creating and promoting my own products
3. Income not solely dependent upon my individual effort?
How about yours?DwayneGarrett2007-9-5 15:48:18

    for me:
    1. constant growth in double digits, 10% + year over year.
    2. Self sustainability Similar to your 3. I want it to make cash when I`m not there, little effort big return.
    3. Industry acknowledgement. I want the industry (salons) to recognize were in the top 200 salons across the nation....so don`t mess with us

These are great responses and generally speaking they are important to me also. There is one thing missing for me, though - I want what I do to matter. I want it to help people. It might not be measurable on my Balance Sheet but it`s the the standard by which I measure my success. I`m not trying to be noble, it`s just that to hear someone say to me, "Thanks, you really helped me" - well, it just doesn`t get better than that!

For me i guess... it should be Good
efforts Great Results... and of course I should get a feeling of
contribution towards my family, friends and people working with me
putting effort and time. And yes last but not the least my business
should keep growing and producing outputs even if m not there to
    support it sometimes....
