He has no clue about the free market or business at all. He`s never had any
executive experience nor any job with any real responsibility so he will
devastate small businesses with taxation and regulation.

I second, triple, quad, etc. all that.
America thinks the economy is bad now...wait till Obama gets in the White House, if he does...his liberal spending, and overall inexperience is dangerously outrageous.

    Folks, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAKE  UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUP!

Are we really comfortable electing someone who is associated with underground evils and crooks  like AYERS, SAL, etc. not to mention the corrupt community organizer company of ACORN?  We thought Clinton was bad but Obama is evil.  Everyone he is associated with is a crook, corrupt, down right evil.

Obama is a lawyer.  He is good with words, charm, deceit and he can bluff his way through any debate, interview.  He is a sweet talker with nothing to show for.  What has he done for America compared to what MCCAIN has done?

He has taken lots of money from us and spent them on what?

IF OBAMA WINS THE ELECTION, IT`S NOT BECAUSE OF HIS GOOD MERITS AND EXPERIENCE.  IF OBAMA WINS THE ELECTION IT`S BECAUSE IT WAS STOLEN /CORRUPTED BY HIS UNDERGROUND EVIL ASSOCIATES HE CALLS FRIENDS!  That makes Obama evil!

I don`t hate Obama.  I think he is a smart guy and cute too and someday he might make a fine President but he has to do it the right way.  Not through coercion, corrupt, lies and deceit. Get some experience ...go out and run something .  He has to clean up his past and come clean.   I will definitely vote for that Obama.

Here is a question: If you could have anyone in the white house as President, who would it be and why?

No, just want to hear what people are looking for and the reasons why etc.. We need solutions and a heck of a lot to back that up. Not reasons why someone should not but reasons why we think someone should represent this nation. We are all so quick to disagree but it takes a us as a "people" to do something...act.. not just go along for the ride and complain. There are plenty of "star" human beings capable but it takes the nation to help bring these folks to power of government. I know, we all need to be more involved, at all times not just every four years, where everyone likes to lay their claim and place the blame. Wouldn`t it be great if we all worked hard at realizing others potential all along and helping taht leader rise to a represenative of all of us as a nation.. instead of letting the inside pull this one and that one from the crowd of themselves. This is why I asked the question.. over the next four years, 8--etc.. think about how you can help bring the person you BELIEVE in to the election.

There will never be any agreement here on whether McCain is better or Obama is better for our country.
That said, I must note that John McCain`s economic advisor is Phil Gramm.  Phil Gramm and John McCain both strongly advocated deregulation of the financial markets, which led us directly into the mess we`re in now.  John McCain wants to do the same thing with Social Security and health care.
    No thanks.
I`m all for free markets, but not when you`re literally gambling with peoples` lives.
Call Obama a Marxist if you want.  Karl Marx was right about a lot of things, like it or not.
I`ve asked this in another thread - Do you want to live in a "me" society, or a "we" society?  I`ll take the latter.

You sir belong in Russia....  McCain is a Bush clone.  He has ruined the entrepreneurs (ie- small business community in this country for over 7 yrs.)  McCain represents the "let`s dumb down America" to believe any garbage we give them  Do you remember the war based on LIES the Republicans told us.....that has led to this "depression" the US is experiencing?  SADDDDDD....  Maybe you think Palin is your answer.  The poor woman only knows what the Elephants print on her cue cards---- They are afraid for her to speak (ie- I can see Russia from my house.)   I for one, would like the Clinton years back. Great economy-Obama went to Harvard - where did McCain go? PS- McCain even cheated  on his first wife with his current Stepford $$$ girl....

    Peta,
My god you`re so ignorant.. I`m sorry but... are you assuming that Obama, is going to miraculously hide ballot bags in Dade County FL? Isn`t that what your buddy Bush did from the start? BUSH was never elected to be the president and we all know that. But that`s 8 years ago.
9/11 - Another accident under the Bush Administration. Look how many lives were lost. What`s the truth behind that? America will never know, but I`m pretty sure he lost the twin towers over a Game of Black Jack with Bin-Laden (anything is possible with that moron)
The Back Up Plan to bail out all his buddies from over spending our tax dollars?
The foreclosure Crisis? Who`s to blame? The Bush Administration...
WAR in IRAQ - Where are the weapons of mass destruction? I`m yet to see one, Show me at least a missile or a IED? Show me something that will convince me that there was such a thing as Weapons of Mass Distruction? I haven`t seen one, yet I`ve seen mother`s crying because their son got killed for a sense-less war [Bush`s greed for OIL]...
Now you want another Republican? Can you please tell me in one paragraph; what did the republicans do for the Small Business Sector, that you are so pissed off about?
Didn`t all the company`s and jobs go over-seas during the BUSH administration? There are homeless families in America that lost their jobs because of this so tax benefit.
Finally, unless you are making 10 million or more, the tax benefit was made specifically to help you... But if you`re business is struggling making 120K - 200K those tax breaks do not benefit you at all.... And lets not get into the to 300 dollar stimulus package...
Can 300.00 dollars really stimulate a nation? where the current light bill is $380 a month?
I think in the history of presidents "BUSH" has by far been the most corrupt and should be questioned once he`s out of office...
You know what the funniest thing is? American wanted to impeach Clinton over a sex scandal... Has sex sever killed anyone? believe me, I think it`s easier to explain how you got drunk and ended up with an un-known woman [its common in our society] than it is to account for all the "War Casualties" how do you account for all those lives?
    Please explain....

The only thing Palin can show American women is how to get a Bee-hive... Aren`t Bee-hives from the 1970`s? I think my mother used to have one when she was 18 or 19...

I`d take him any day over the whack job Palin/McCain. True, she isn`t running for President, but with McCain`s age and health, one has to consider the strong possibility that she could be President of the United States, and that my friend is a much scarier thought.
I almost have to wonder if McCain is purposely trying to lose? Or, there`s the possibility no one else wanted the job. It`s shocking, and almost disgusting just to hear her speak and answer questions.
I`m sorry, but Palin is a bad JOKE!How can you try to defend the `moose` in the headlights look with a straight face?
Seriously... are we all watching the same interviews???
    Cartess

Cartess, At one point I was all for Hillary, that was until I was talking to a good friend of mine that just passed away and she said to me "Edgar, I`m a woman.... and the least I need is for someone that gets menstrual cramps once a month, to run this Country"
Ever since then.... she did knock some sense into me...

As a "conservative" and free market defender, it is very difficult to reason with either politician.  This country is continually headed toward "socialism".  Let`s consider JFK.  In todays world JFK would be more conservative than both candidates.  I was a Mcain supporter until he voted "yes" to the new bail out plan.  There is more "pork barrel" spending in the bail out than ever.  I voted for a person who I thought was a true conservative and that president ended up spending more than any president in history and also expanded government more than any in history and he is supposed to be a conservative.  I have never been so dissapointed in politics and politicians.  The government is the last person/people that I would ever want to determine how and where my money is spent.  I am not writing this to argue, because it is not worth my time or yours, but to just state how dissapointed I am in politics in general.  Where are we headed as a country and what will take to improve our position?  We are all mostly small business owners and it is proven that we all are the "heart" of America.  We provide and create jobs, not the government.  That`s my take.  I apologize for anyone that I have offended and maybe I am naive.  I guess I just hope that everyone can come together to solve this problem so that it never happens again.  Also lets not forget that it is not just politics, it is taking accountability for our own actions.  If you can not afford that dream house just yet, then don`t purchase it.  If you can not afford a $30,000 car, then don`t buy it.

    Businesswithcents,
Your comment was not naive at all, it makes total sense and if I may add to your comment...
Yes Bush did end up spending more than any other president in history! now ask yourself where is all that money? All I heard on the radio for the last 7 years was 10 billion for this, 20 billion for that, 300 billion, 300 billion, 300 billion... My god, he has spent more than Bill Gates has in the bank! He spoke about change! Where is it? The change was never meant for the Small Business sector in America nor the working class, the change was for his buddies like Warren Buffet and his share of  Haliburton.
Believe me 300 billion can make a change, but 700 billion can make a difference in every home in America if it would have been used properly.
Rather he sends 700 billion to another country to help their credit crisis? What about every American`s credit crisis? The foreclosures, and the families that are being left without anything...
To prove my point, I live in California [high-desert] area, and on our block there`s about 26 homes that are foreclosed. People are walking away from their homes that they worked so hard.
I hope Obama brings change to the USA, I know it`s not going to be an easy task, but believe me, if it means I have to pitch in an extra 200.00 bucks on my taxes to help the USA recover I would do it. As long as I see change!...

None of you spoke about  Palin aka"Polly Parrott"... I was so disappointed in her not answering any REAL, relevant questions....  I am a woman & wanted her to appear intelligent & prepared.  The only thing she seems to be prepared is to "read & memorize" the party line.  I guess I expected that aspect, but I was even more disappointed with her "down home....wink,wink" attitude & speech. It was demeaning & rude.   Am I the only one who thinks she speaks in halted, repeated, dis-jointed English?  She sounds like a stupid "Fargo" character.  I`m not worried about the "Fargo"... I am deathly afraid of the "STUPID"..................
Biden was very strong in giving HIS honest opinion on POLICY.   He is intelligent, well-spoken & honest.  That`s a very refreshing political stance.  Personally, I think he blew Palin away !  I hope the voters realize we need intelligence not winking & sarcasm.

Who told you that her teleprompter went down? If it had they would have blamed it on Obama LOL....
If you feel she was fabulous, then , in my opinion, you have a very low opinion of what women can & should do in the public eye....  like speak clearly, intelligently & of an independent mind.
The world is judging her as representative of American women.  She is certainly NOT representative of the women I know & respect.  I fear her belief that she can take away women`s rights to control their own bodies.... that everyone should follow HER church`s Chrisitian beliefs, etc.  Have you heard that she is now saying that she will no longer be interviewed unless the interviewer is Christian & she "approves" of  him/her?  No big surprise to me..........  she is petrified that they will show the world the "real" Sarah Palin- stupid & full of herself.

I guess we can agree to disagree on  the issues.  I only hope the voters can realize that we are electing our country`s LEADERS, not it`s dictators.

TelePrompter`s are ridiculous for use in debates. That is a joke all together.
