Register with your state`s labor department.
Set up a payroll system to withhold taxes.
Get worker`s compensation insurance.
Adopt workplace saftey measures.
Post required notices.
Set up personnel files.
Create an employee handbook.
Set up employee benefits.

We specialize in more human resource related areas. One tip is universal however. You must see all current proof of insurance and licensing needed. In MI that means atleast a workers compensation cert. Good luck.
