Novice aspiring startup here....

Hi, I`m looking for some very basic advice here - complete novice! Myself and some friends have an idea for a gaming/retail shop, and want to know how to go about finding out how to make it a reality.It would involve getting funding (business loan, plan etc) and how to perhaps get some advice from someone or some company on our ideas etc.Anyone have any basic tips for us?
