Seeking Partner for IT Recruiting Agency

Hello,
I am looking for a partner to start an IT recruiting agency in NJ/NY area. The ideal partner would have experience working as a recruiter but someone with sales experience and and industry knowledge would be a good fit as well.
I have 7+ years IT experience in financial companies with a broad knowlege of IT in general with specialization in Cisco networking.
What I would bring to the table is highly technical screening that would enable us to select only the best candidates for our clients. Having done interviewing myself I see that most recruiting agencies do not have the expertise to properly screen applicants and simply flood their clients with any resume that matches a keyword search.
What you would bring is previous contacts or the people skills / sales ability to create contacts that are hiring managers or HR people in large organizations.

What manner of IT personnel are you looking to recruit? From your name and discription above I would guess Hardware / Networking. Is this correct? Were you planning to do any recruiting of software developers?

I know that people don`t search or filter resumes in proper way, that’s why many companies face losses in recruiting quality developers. Same time the requirement is very high and the quality people are less in market so you should rather appoint your candidates at right billing amount by not sending a 2 yrs experience guy to handle 5 yrs exp job. It’s a loss for everyone and it is against the ethics which anyone follows here.
Anyway, coming back to looking for business partner - you should better look for people to whom you know in past 7 years. At least you will have confidence and comfort to work with them. It`s really hard to find a quality person to hire and you are talking about partner. Good Luck
