What are the basics of a business plan?

I have an idea that I want to make my pet project for the near future. I have the creative side pretty much figured out, however, I do not know how to implement the business side. What kind of things go into making a business plan? i.e. what details do I need to figure out and where is a good place to start? Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
