Hello Everyone,
Let me start by saying I`m so glad I found this website. Here is my idea! I would like to offer after discharge kits for people returning home from the hospital. A few years  back I had surgery and when I returned home it was a nightmare. I could hardly walk but still had to find away to feed myself. So when I had to have a second surgery this time I was prepared. I had gather everything I need for my return home and placed it in a cooler beside my bed. THIS HELPED ME A LOT! So I was thinking maybe  I could help others by doing the same.  I would like to but together a kit with supplies to help people others return home more bearable.   What do you think? Thank you for your time.

Neat idea and one that maybe even insurance companies might pick up coverage for. My only thought is that each surgery is different so you`d probably have to tailor your kits to fit specific types of surgeries. Would there also be rental equipment, maybe a wheel chair, or some other machine that is needed for a short time? You might also look at homecare companies and see if they want to purchase or resell that product.

I think that this is a great idea. I live in a medical rich community, and think that something like this would be a hit in a town such as this.
 
Keep me in touch. I would like to hear how this develops, and possibly bring to my community.

I think it is a brilliant idea! They usually throw some items in a plastic bag, like gauze, a container to get sick in etc...i think if you could make a prototype and a few different examples for different uses, that would be great!
