Let your side hustles cover expenses

I started having side hustles and/or freelance gigs while in college. Despite the fact I have actual businesses, I haven't let go of my side hustles. My side hustles provide the money I need to start a new business or cover expenses. I still take surveys, participate in focus groups, do product tests, watch peoples dogs, set up peoples websites and help business owners/entrepreneurs get their home office organized. My friends think I'm nuts for doing all of this, in my spare time, but I never worry about how I'll cover an unforeseen business expense.

For some people side hustle can do a lot , but for some people it is really hard to get hold of it while working full time. I am glad that you can do all of this while having your own business, I wonder how do you manage?
