Hello, I've finally finished making my first website, and would love some constructive criticism / advice. The url for the site is:http://daygrab.comI started creating it about two years ago to learn web design. I wanted to learn how to create a dynamic website, but I also wanted a finished product that I found interesting and useful. I brainstormed for a while trying to think of a website idea that I had not seen before. The site's basic idea is that everyday someone gets to design the front page of the website. Users can add images, YouTube videos, and text to their page. Each day can have up to 20 pages linked together to create a pseudo-website. My vision is that DayGrab will allow ordinary people to share their ideas and content with a large audience. My main concern now is marketing / advertising. I'm on a very limited budget, so I'm finding it difficult. On the other hand, the site has only been open a few days. I received a small review here:http://www.killerstartups.com/User-Gen- ... of-the-dayI agree with their point about "what will draw people in". My dream would be to offer a monthly monetary prize to the top rated day. Right now I've gotten a few "day designs" that were people trying to advertise their webpage / business. I think the cash prize would encourage actual non-spam submissions.Any tips are greatly appreciated! Thanks for your time.
