I totally agree with all the comments here. All of them are correct with respect to each of their personal views and based on their experiences. According to me, I suggest you to implement both the strategies simultaneously for your new business to reach your goal. Yes, I have experience using both and have ran successful campaigns. SEO and PPC are part of digital marketing and both are very important for your e-commerce business. SEO is better than PPC. SEO is the best way to list your website on the first page of Google. Where PPC will help your website to show up on the first page, as long as you make the payment (non-organic).

SEO is better than PPC! But as a long term investment, taking time and costs into account, quality SEO should come out on top if you're looking for eCommerce sales. Pay-per-click ads are a super way to create immediate traffic and sales but the ROI delivered from paid advertising has a much shorter lifespan than the potential benefits of SEO and content marketing for an online store.
