How do you figure out what keywords to rank for?

There are so many combinations of words and sentences that my company should be ranking for on Google. What are some ways of narrowing down my search and making this more simple?

In your case, google keyword planner would be of great help. You will get keyword suggetions, competition, and the conversion rates.

right, but keyword.io has better and larger info...the bad thing is, that keyword.io is not free

Check the keywords search volume, if it's higher with less or medium competition then it will be an ideal keyword you should rank for.

I think you can try Ahrefs for reference. It is better than Google Keyword Planner

I think you just need to use 2 tools to research keywords: keywordtool.io and Google Keyword Planner

Mostly long tail keywords are suitable to be targeted as they are easy to rank in search as compare to the keywords those are high in competition.

1. Type in your website URL into Keyword Explorer.
2. Select the country where you audience is based.
3. Click the search button.
4. You'll see Top Ranking Keywords.
5. Click Ranking Keywords on the left panel to view more keywords.
