Methodology behind structuing the equity of a new business

Hey all,

My friend and I are working on a start up website and are almost completed the product. We are getting down to the equity aspect of it and are looking for basic fundamental materials / information that discuss structuring the equity of a new business.

Where can I find such articles, books? Anything that pops to mind that you found useful?

1. Create 4-year vesting agreements for all cofounders - in the event, any cofounder is fired, resigns, or even wins the lottery and doesn't feel like working any more. This protects other cofounders and future investors.
2. I Do not recommend breaking up the equity evenly. Use Demmler method
