Find a 8A (minority person) partner? New Government Contracting company

GovCon8AGovCon8A subscriber Posts: 1 Member
I am starting a government contracting business. I would like to partner with a Native American or other 8A status individual. I have the capital and business experience - I just need a qualified partner to help ensure growth through the government's 8A program. No tricks/scams, no BS, just a true business opportunity. Contact me at GovCon8A@gmail.com.

I was reading this and thinking: There's got to be an organization of association of Native American businesspeople. And there is:

I would reach out to this organization. But, don't just say you're looking for someone to check off a box. I would frame it as this: This project can only meet its highest potential with an American Indian voice involved. They've got a phone number listed on the Contact page. I would pick up the phone, find the appropriate person to speak with, and pick their brain on the best way to proceed.

I'm finding that simply picking up the phone really shocks people these days. So few of us actually do it, but it's a great relationship builder and a great way to get what you want/need.

    Best of luck!
