Finding a supplier in a Niche market

I am interested in taking my hobby to the next level. I enjoy making craft brews and have found a distibutor willing to work with me, but I must have a legitimate retail location. My goal was to start the business, online or mail order until I had enough repeat business to afford rent and utilities. I am nowhere near ready to take the leap to a retail location can`t afford the extra rent, utilities and payroll. (I am currently employed and can`t have a flexible schedule yet). Has anyone overcome this obstacle successfully and how?
