What are the popular design forums

I didn`t really know where to put this.  I know some of you are design people.  What are the design forums popular with design community? Raw and edgy or up and coming designers?

Oh my, there are many many many web design forums. Each forum has a different "feel" because of its` membership (quality & quantity), participation, and subjects/topics covered.
Most forums cover more than one topic.
 
There are some huge forums and not so huge.... the larger ones may be a little less personal.
You might just do a search and check a few out.
 
There is one that I`m involved with that I would recommend.... if you`re interested PM me and I`ll give you the URL.

There are many, many others - but those are the ones I visit on a regular basis.
I also make use of social media/social networking and online portfolio sites for marketing/promotion and, in some cases, networking with others in the design profession.

I`m a graphic designer and have a small obsession with design blogging, mine is called Nohea Lookbook. Jeff mentioned some great ones, but I figured you might enjoy these as well. If you are looking for more blogs the best way to find them is to visit sites we have mentioned and look for their blog links. I often find new blogs of interest at design blogs I frequent.
 




Another idea is to check out the graphic design group discussions over at Linkedin. Blogging comes up quite a bit and often people list the sites they like. Anyway, here are a few of my favorites:
