1k for startup (where to get it?)

Hi
I have a relatively large website that only requires $500-1k to actually get it to do something useful. Just to hire a professional programmer.
How can I get this kind of money?
I have no idea, I`ve looked around google a bit and found some wierd websites that want $100 for signup.
Basically, is there any way to borrow money from someone(like peer to peer lending), and give a return only if it works out?

It is also a great idea to offer the programmer twice his/her normal fee once you have revenue...
Also checkout www.eLance.com - what you think costs $500 - $1k; you can most likely get done for at least half of that by going thru elance.com....
Hope this helps and good luck!
