Seeking Business Manager/Partner For Film Production Company

ABOUT US:
Our CEO is a veteran Hollywood producer with over 40 years experience in the motion picture industry. He has produced or directed two dozen feature films over the course of his long career and his films have grossed over $600M in worldwide box officer revenue. Our business plan is ambitious but we have the experience and the chops to achieve our goals.
POSITION SUMMARY:
Small team of Hollywood filmmakers seeks an experienced COO and full equity Partner for a film development/production company in the early stages of equity financing. We are looking for a strong individual with great leadership qualities and an aggressive start up mentality who can manage a film production company on a day to day basis. The COO will be a full equity partner in our company and will assist us and guide us through our stages of financing rounds.
Duties will include budgeting, staffing, negotiation with agents and managers, and dealing with board members and investors as much as may be required. Must also deal with vendors of all types and oversee all company personnel, and review all contracts and agreements. Some travel will be required.

REQUIREMENTS:?
Business degree or equivalent real world experience.
Advanced computer skills.
Extensive experience in the feature motion picture industry is highly desirable.
Experience managing a business or division within the motion picture industry is desirable.
Extensive experience in or understanding of film distribution and marketing is desirable.
Understand all facets of the motion picture industry is desirable
Must work within the Los Angeles area.
Previous experience in building and growing a company is plus.
You have a committed and can do attitude.
Down to earth and maintains a sense of humor under pressure.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work closely with partners to complete initial equity fund raising round.
Management of day to day company operations.
Work closely with partners to oversee and manage the growth and expansion of the company.
Interface and work closely with investors and board members as much as may be necessary.
Interface and work closely with distributors and or studios, financiers in overseeing marketing and distribution of all films.
Interface and work closely with agents and managers to negotiate and complete all contracts pertaining to options and purchase agreements or any other agreements that may become necessary.
Supervision and direction of subordinates, including script readers being paid per script.
