I'm new to here and I'm picking up social media marketing for my new job which I'm quite new to this... Just wanna ask what channels do u guys usually use for social media marketing and how do people usually do it? I know most of the people post the image online but what are the key factors?

I spent some tme on social media for work, it's usually posting images or video with some messages. The channel for you is very depends on your company. In my experience, it's just difficult to make my works count...

Hi eriko,
I suggest you start building your company's profiles in Facebook, Google+, LinkedIn and Twitter. Creating profile is free and the customer reach is tremendous. However if you want to really explode in Facebook and LinkedIn you should consider some ad campaigns too. Once you got substantial customer list you can do some email marketing. For this purpose I suggest you start using Mailchimp. Also be aware that content is king - in order to make customers interact your content should really be valuable for them. You should also use call-to-action buttons in order to make people book or contact you.

Remember that the algorithm of Facebook does so that your post is only seen by about 8% of your followers...therefore it is also import to post a different times and most importantly with the right content, so your audience want to share it

Yes, it's very true that content is King!!! You should keep in mind that to make interaction with your audiences.

First you need to understand what your company/ organization stands for: key messages and positioning.

Next, really be targeted in who your customers are: demographics, psychographics and last of all of course socialgraphics! Which social platforms do they go on? What do they do on there?

From there you can craft a social media marketing plan to engage with the right content at the right time. With engagement, then you can build up to a call to action, which could be signing up for a newsletter etc., eventually buying your product or service.

this is very good concept .. if you do your marketing with social media then you can get the more focus.  Because now a days every one is social. if can want to get more traffic then it is more easy with social media

@Roshni, but it is also important to know which platforms your specific target audience is on. It is not the best strategy to be on every social platform, just so you can say you're on every social platform.

I agree with many. Yes, for me best social media channels are Facebook and Twitter, also Instagram. However, it depends on what type of business you have, so then you'll know what s.m. channels are best for you.
