I would guess that you have to earn trust by becoming a valued contributor to discussions on this site before that will be something you will be able to do. That is the way many sites work becaue it cuts down on pointless comments designed strictly for the benefit of product placement. I am new to the community as well and I could be wrong. You can put signature only when the moderator have given you the access of user control panel. In user control panel you can create your signature.

So that we are all clear, users must get to Bronze Level Membership to add signatures. To get to the Bronze rank, simply make 10 (relevant) posts in our forum. Bronze members can also add links and send private messages.

You can add signature link by editing your profile but it will appear only when you'll complete the guidelines of the site, designed for signature. So first read the rule of fourms and then go as per the guidelines.
